Happy Dog

Merry Christmas from the Turramurra Vet Team!

Give Your Pet Fresh Breath for Christmas!

Does your pet’s breath make your nose curl? We can help! We have limited space available for dental procedures prior to Christmas to make sure your pet’s pearly whites are as white as Santa’s beard for the Holiday season!

Dental disease in Dogs and cats is the most common problem we see on a daily basis here at Turramurra Vets, yet most pet parents are unaware there is a problem with their pet’s teeth. They don’t tell us when their teeth are hurting so it’s important for them to be thoroughly checked.
We are happy to be able to offer FREE nurse dental checks (by appointment only) so you can be assured that your pet’s mouth is free from infection, smell and pain.

If we have already advised you that your dog or cat needs a dental treatment, you can contact our team on 9988 0198 to organise a booking.

No Vacation without Vaccination!

Running Dog
It’s your holiday too – and you need to have peace of mind. Before you send your pets off to boarding facilities, make sure that they’re up to date with all the vaccinations they require. They are likely to be in contact with many ‘new’ cats and dogs, so it’s important for their health that they’re completely protected.

Please don’t leave this to the last minute as the establishment of immune protection takes time! Many boarding facilities require vaccines to be updated at least 2 weeks prior to your pet’s stay.

Remember, check in with us ahead of holiday time! If you are unsure when your pet is due for their vaccinations, call our team on 9988-0198 to find out.

Last chance to win $150 worth of veterinary services!

Thank You
Please help us improve our service to you at Turramurra Vet. We would appreciate you taking a few minutes of your time to complete this feedback survey. The information you share will be strictly used to help continue Turramurra Veterinary Hospital to evolve with positive changes. The survey will be closed on Tuesday 10th December.

Holiday Details Form

Pet Vacation
If you are going away these holidays and leaving your pet in another person’s care, we urge you to complete a holiday details form with us. In the unanticipated event that your pet suffers an illness while you’re away, this form ensures you are contactable to be able to discuss your pet’s condition and your treatment preferences.

All too often we are presented with an unwell animal where we are unable to proceed with appropriate treatment because we are unable to contact the owner, and the pet minder is not able to make the decision in place of them. This situation is obviously distressing for all parties involved.

Holiday details forms can be downloaded from our website [click here], and dropped off to reception or emailed to our reception team at info@turramurravet.com.au. Alternatively, drop by and fill one in at reception.

Make sure your pet minder knows your regular vet, plus NEVS after hours service for emergencies. Also make sure your pet minder knows about tick paralysis and that your tick control is up to date too.

Audrey is still looking for her Furever Home!

Audrey
Audrey is still searching for her forever home. She is looking for a loving family to keep her indoors, preferably with no other pets. Audrey is super affectionate, 2 years old and already desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and has had flea/tick prevention applied.
All our staff have grown very fond of Audrey and though we will be sad to see her go, we look forward to her finding a new family to love.

Would you like to meet Audrey? Speak to our staff to arrange a visit or speak to Dr. Gretta or Dr. Angus for further information on (02) 9988-0198
