In an Emergency

Animal emergencies such as tick paralysis, trauma (such as being hit by a car, or dog fight wounds), breathing difficulties, collapse or poisoning due to ingestion of chocolate or household chemicals, should be actioned immediately. Emergencies don’t give you the luxury of time.

We are well equipped and highly experienced in handling emergencies. Turramurra Vet should be the first point of call during the hours we are open.

For emergencies out of hours, Turramurra Vet recommends the Northside Emergency Veterinary Service (NEVS). They are open whenever we are closed, including all public holidays. NEVS sole focus is the emergency treatment of pets.

NEVS are a modern and well equipped after hours vet hospital, run by a co-operative of over 25 leading Sydney vets, including Turramurra Vet Hospital, and was set up to ensure that professional after hours emergency service is always available for your pets.
