Pet of the Month – Fetch

Fetch is a lovely Golden Retriever who received his name for his love of chasing a ball and ability to sniff them out in any public space. Fetch has been with his family since he was a little puppy 10 years ago. Originally from a breeder in Adelaide, home then became a small house in Artarmon before Fetch became a local with a lot more space to explore. His family at the time consisted of two adults and a child and now he has four children to love and whom all love him back. His favourite thing to do in the morning is to go for an early walk with a visit to Champ and Chief Deli and Cafe on Princes Street. He then spends the rest of the day resting in the driveway awaiting the Pymble Public school children whom he loves to greet. Fetch’s family is hooked on Golden Retrievers as amazing family pets. RSPCA Cupcake Day 2018!

Next Monday 20th August is Cupcake Day for the RSPCA. All our staff join in to bake animal friendly cupcakes (made with free range eggs) to raise funds for the RSPCA. While most cupcakes will be intended for people consumption, we will also have a selection for our canine friends. Each cupcake will be $3 or you can buy 4 for $10. Donations are also welcome. Please come and join us for a cupcake party.

Pymble Turramurra Pre-School (Handley Avenue) Family Fun Day

Our local preschool is having their annual Family Fun Day on Sunday 26th August. The fun begins at 10am and runs until 2pm. There will be an animal farm with the opportunity for children to feed and cuddle baby animals. There will also be face painting and biscuit decorating activities for the children. For the adults there will be plenty of stalls with a variety of local wares, silent auctions and a chocolate wheel. And, for when hunger strikes, a sausage sizzle will be available. We will be there, so please come and say hello. We will have a raffle style competition to win a hamper for your pet.
